I was an idiot. We paid close to $400.00 a month for mine
through an HMO. Since 1968 I've had VA health care available but was sort of skeptical of it and never really looked into it. I finally decided to see
what they had to offer and am I ever glad I did. In the last 3 months I've undergone every medical test and check that you can imagine with no health care
premium and a total of $24.00 in co-pays for meds. Much better treatment than I ever got from my HMO. After 3 months of all sorts of test and screenings I
walked away with a clean bill of health and a doctor I can rely on. Now that's a deal I could kick myself over.

Leon has been in the VA system for a few years now. Did you know that if you do two things in one day, you still pay only one co-pay?

The only thing I have a co-pay for is non service connected meds....................everything else is N/C.

Wow, that's great Jack! Leon has a small co-pay for specialists. I was talking to a lady on Pogo last night. Her hubby had cataract surgury done through
VA. From what she said, he's extremely happy with the way it turned out.
