No, I don't believe Gabriel is at fault either. You can see shots of her after the race. She looks perfectly comfortable galloping out, then the
unthinkable happened, so she was fine when the race finished. Blaming Gabriel is very wrong, IMO.

I don' t know that much about horse racing or what the jockeys do or don't do, but if he did anything wrong..wouldn't that happen to many other
horses..
I will continue to see what happens.............she was a beauty.........so sad........... |

Their big complaint is that he didn't pull her up before the race ended. They feel she got hurt during the running of the Derby. But, as I said, I've
seen some shots of her after the race and she was fine when the race ended. So Gabriel had no reason to believe that anything was wrong and he needed to pull
her up. It all happened very quickly.
She sure was a beauty...A truly magnificent animal! |
