We had a wonderful visit with my sister in California. We enjoyed a very relaxing week. With the exception of smoke, smoke and more smoke it was nice.
I just couldn't believe the number of fires out there. There was one about five miles from my sister's house and after the 2nd day, we never could see the mountains/trees or sky again.
Flights were pretty smooth. No real big hangups with the airlines. Nothing we couldn't deal with.
I put $20 in a slot at the airport in Reno while waiting for our flight, won $100, played it back to $80 and cashed out. Pretty smart, huh?? Never have won anything at an airport before.
Overall a nice trip, but I'm so glad to be home.
